Market Watch

We have seen some improvement in prices the last few weeks due to cold, rainy weather.  With temps improving and less moisture, there has been a good portion of the crop planted.  Once the crop is in the ground, markets will be flat at best, unless we see some very bad weather.  Traders do not feel at this point that we are far behind, and not a significant amount of acres have been switched to beans.  We still have a long way to go before the crop is in the bin.  Take advantage of the up days in the market.

Thank You!

Business has been spread out, but very good so far.

The 2002 crop-planting season started back in April with our first starter fertilizer going out during the third week.  However, it has been slow going ever since.  With the cold, rainy weather, the rest of spring has drug on.  We are still delivering starter fertilizer!  In previous years, planting corn has taken 10 to 15 days.  This year, we have been going at it for six weeks!  This is going to be a good year, but all spread out.  We would like to take a quick opportunity to thank you for your business.  Remember, we are here to help you succeed in your farming operation, even when the elements make it challenging, at best!

Seed Still Available

*Syngenta*Asgrow*DeKalb*

It may take us a day or two to get in early corn (before 100-day), so you need to plan ahead.  Most beans are in stock at all times.  We have beans available in both mini-bulks and bags.  Call us for your needs on remaining seed.
