Grain markets have held most of their
strength through harvest.
Export numbers remain strong to help
support markets. Basis levels have been firm; all in all, prices have
remained in a good range—corn unchanged from 9/30; and beans up 30
cents. The down side to all this is that another report is due out on
November 12th. We’ll have to wait and see what numbers the
government will come out with.

Now is a great time to get your soil
testing done! We have different options available: grid sampling,
individual field sampling, or you can pull the samples yourself and we

at Harvest
How does your brand stack up?
The seed brands we sell, Syngenta,
DeKalb, and Mycogen have all done well this year. We have had no
standability problems, the corn has come in drier than other brands and
yields are looking better than expected. Overall, we have been very
pleased with the outcome so far.
Order your seed now! Financing is
available for all of the seed companies we represent. Some of you may
already be pre-approved for Syngenta through John Deere Credit. If you are

Checks
Again this year, we are writing grain
checks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you prefer to be paid
differently, please let us know at the time of delivery. Also, if you
don’t want paid until the end of your harvesting, remember to let us
know when you are done! J
