Market
Watch
Overall,
markets have been steady to lower last month. China is expected to be a
stiff competitor on corn this year. The USDA is expected to raise their
numbers on the next report...we'll see! The market has been up more than
in prior years. You may want to sell some grain now while the market is
up, saving some to market later if the price continues its upward trend.
Keep an eye on our new crop basis levels; they are very good, but may not
stay there for long.
If you need
more information, please contact us via e-mail, or
give Pat a call!

Upcoming Seed Days
Can you believe it's that time again?
It has really come upon us fast again! Our annual Seed Days even t will
be held on September 26th. Please mark your calendars now!

Almost Ready!
Have you seen our shiny new addition yet?
Now that the wet bin has been set, we have been busy getting everything
connected. The guys have been working with the new leg. Right now, it is
running 4,300 bushel per hour. We are making adjustments to get it up to
the promised 5,000 bushel per hour.
In case you drive in and wonder, the little blue building is not
an outhouse! (Please don't use it as such!) It is a place foe the guys to
get out of the wind and weather. If you get some time, stop by and see it!
We will be in great shape by harvest.

Chemicals Returned
Our chemical
inventory has all been sent back for the year. If you will need anything,
please let us know a day or two in advance. If you are done with any
mini-bulk tanks, please return them.

FSA
Reports If you are going to need any grain reports for
the FSA coming up, please call Kristin. She will be happy to get them for
you, but you must save a copy for your upcoming audit. Please give her as
much notice as you can. |
